The Apprenticeship Programs

Alameda County Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program San Joaquin/Calaveras County Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program 9th District Sound and Communications Apprenticeship Program
Click here for Application Information Apprentices shall be under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician. Physical effort required may involve climbing, crawling, crouching, and working in cramped quarters. Wiring is frequently color coded for connection purposes. Mechanical ability and finger dexterity is essential. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, below grade in ditches and trenches, or above grade on ladders or from scaffolding. Apprentice work assignments are generally limited to San Joaquin and Calaveras Counties. All apprentices are subject to drug testing. Click here for Application Information Apprentice will typically be under the supervision of a Communications and Systems Installation Supervisor at all times. The trade requires physical effort on the part of the apprentice to do climbing, crawling, crouching and working in cramped quarters. Wiring is frequently color coded for connecting purposes; therefore, the worker cannot be colorblind. Mechanical ability and finger dexterity are essential. Work may be performed either indoors or outdoors, in new and old construction environments. Click here for Application information
